BIOENG 3944 - COMPOSITION, STRUCTURE, AND FUNCTION OF MINERALIZED TISSUESMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Mineralized tissues such as bones, dentin, and enamel are exceptional materials with their properties uniquely optimized to the function. These functional properties are determined by the tissue structure and composition. The aim of this course is to examine how the composition and structural organization of the mineralized tissues affects their functional properties in norm and disease.
