BIOENG 2005 - RADIOFREQUENCY MEDICAL DEVICES AND APPLICATIONS OF ELECTROMAGNETICS IN MEDICINEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The course will cover topics related to applied electromagnetics in medicine. Topics such as Maxwell equations, wave equations, transmission lines, electromagnetic theorems, introduction to antennas, and introduction to computational electromagnetics will be presented. The class will include analyses of several RF devices used in medical applications such as MRI, biological sensors, RF ablation.
