BCHS 3007 - ETHNOGRAPHIC AND QUALITATIVE METHODSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Students will be introduced to the basic principles of ethnographic research and their application to the evaluation of human service and health care programs. They will become familiar with research design in ethnographic studies; the process of fieldwork in urban settings; the methodology of participant observation and ethnographic interviewing; recording ethnographic data; ethnographic writing; and ethical questions surrounding ethnographic research.
