ADMPS 3016 - INTRODUCTION TO QUALITATIVE RESEARCHMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Course introduces students to distinct discourse communities that have coalesced around different inquiry traditions (e.g., Empirical, interpretive, critical) and modes of research (e.g., Narrative, ethnographic, historical, rhetorical, and linguistic). Emphasis given to interpretive tradition, in which techniques of data collection and data analysis strategies are secondary to the ways in which researchers make meaning of their data.
