ENGR 1500 - ETHICAL DILEMMAS BALANCING COST, RISK, AND SCHEDULINGMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Students will explore the interfaces among engineering ethics, design, schedules, costs and risk assessment. Teamwork, communications and management skills will also be developed. Students will analyze a series of well-known cases, as well as discussing current ethical situations involving engineers and engineering managers. Students will learn to recognize and resolve the types of ethical dilemmas that they could encounter in the workplace. A term paper serves to integrate and extend the entire course material.
