THEA 1341 - WORLD THEATRE: 500 BCE TO 1640Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 World theatre 500 BC to 1640 investigates histories of theatre and performance (scripts, embodiment, design, audiences, conventions, cultural functions, etc.) Within local and global social, artistic and political contexts, from classical Athens to Edo Japan, colonial Mexico city to Shakespeare's globe.
