STAT 1211 - APPLIED CATEGORICAL DATA ANLYSISMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The purpose of this course is to provide contingency table techniques for research workers in the social sciences, medical sciences and other areas where it is necessary to investigate relationships between areas where it is necessary to investigate relationships between qualitative variables. The course deals with the chi-square test and standard 2x2 and RXC contingency tables, as well as log linear and other special types of contingency tables analysis.
