SOC 1448 - WORKING WOMENMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course studies traditional patterns of women employment, recent gains and changes, and prospects for the future. One aim of the course is for students to gain an understanding of their own work experiences and career plans, as well as those of various groups of women, in relation to broad social and economic changes that are reshaping work in industrial societies.
