HIST 1711 - GENDER AND JEWISH HISTORYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will highlight the impact of gender in modern Jewish history, revealing the divergent experiences of Jewish women and Jewish men as they adapted to the modern world. We will take an international approach to this history, tracing the ways in which circumstances in Europe, America, and the Middle East shaped how Jews understood and responded to gender roles.
