HIST 1772 - RACE, CASTE AND ETHNICITY IN A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will compare and contrast the ways in which race, caste and ethnicity operate in a variety of national, economic, demographic and cultural settings, notably Cuba, Brazil, South Africa, India, China, and the U.S. The course will include films, readings and slides obtained for a semester-at-sea voyage to those countries.
