HIST 1763 - POLITICS OF CONTEMPORARY MIDDLE EASTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The main emphasis of the course will be on conflict and conflict resolution in the Middle East. Conflict has been a constant feature of the region since 1945. This course will be primarily concerned with how and why these conflicts are generated, escalate, become protracted, and are resolved.
