LEGLST 1326 - GLOBALIZATION AND LAWMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course considers the efforts underway to globalize ideas of rule of law and democracy. In the movement to promote rule of law governments, human rights, and market economies, conflicts regarding culture, identity and local politics arise. The course explores the global ideas of democracy and rule of law within the context of local identity, culture and politics of emerging nation-states.
