ADMJ 1350 - PROBATION AND PAROLEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Presents and evaluates the nature and impact of probation and parole, research on effects of both, and strategies for their most effective use. The course examines the nature of parole; factors affecting grant of denial or probation; structure and operation of probation services; differences between juvenile and adult probation services; and impacts of probation and parole upon both the criminal justice system and larger society.
