ENGWRT 1399 - TOPICS IN NON-FICTION: NEWSPAPERMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines the history, lives and livelihoods famous female journalists who made exceptional contributions to journalism despite institutional and gender obstacles. Starting with the turn-of-the century, we look at women and their writing who covered domestic and international beats such as Nellie Bly, Martha Gellhorn, Gloria Steinem, and Lara Logan who have left their mark on women's history.
