ENGLIT 0331 - GREAT BOOKS: A SEMINAR IN THE MODERN HUMANITIES (PART 2)Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The course centers on classic texts of world literature, from homer, to the Koran, to Emerson and Woolf. This course is meant for all students who have an intellectual interest in the complex resources of some of our shared traditions as well as a healthy curiosity about the history of our present. In other words, this seminar is intended to make available a demanding, but still selective encounter with works of high aesthetic, intellectual, and indeed even political importance.
