ENGFLM 1681 - FILM COMEDYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course surveys film comedy from the silent period through the sound era. It focuses both on major comic performers and directors as well as on comic forms and traditions. In addition the course examines issues of comic structure, psychological dynamics of comedy and its political proclivities.
