CLASS 1510 - GREEK ARTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The study of Greek art begins ca. 3000 B.C. In the so-called "age of bronze" and traditionally ends in 30 B.C. With the completion of the roman conquest of the eastern Mediterranean. The course will trace the development of architecture, sculpture and painting in mainland Greece and to a lesser extent in the Greek colonies of Asia minor and Italy, emphasizing the changes in style and taste which took place over this period.
