BIOSC 0190 - DISCOVERING LIFE: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BIOLOGICAL WORLD 1Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This introductory biology course integrates lab and lecture and is recommended to those students interested in pursuing research in the biological sciences and/or in building problem solving and data analysis skills. Lectures cover macromolecule structure and function, energy and metabolism, and histology and physiology of select organ systems. Labs expose students to cutting-edge research methods and are run by the same instructors that teach the lecture portion of the course.
